So I launched SailingHemispheres, a WordPress blog. Figured I’d separate my biggest passion, lifestyle and hobby from my everyday blog to keep my sailing in focus with the community. Now up and running @ SailingHemispheres.wordpress.com. If all works well, this should appear on my Facebook page, twitter and Tumblr.

Steve and I took our boats for the weekend to Cape Lookout. A perfect August weekend where the temperature was low. Usually it’s hot in August which might explain why the anchorage was so empty. Perfect 😉

Thanks to a much more experienced team than I, we won the the race. Learned a bunch, especially how to move a boat in light air.
