ABC News Anchor Peter Jennings died today at his home in New York City. He was 67. On April 5, Jennings announced he had been diagnosed with lung cancer. Truly a sad day for journalism as personally, I had a high found respect for him. Amongst journalists, that’s rare. But he didn’t fit the mold “my impression” of the typical journalist that is distant and disconnected, aristocratic, rigid, and unconcerning. He seemed genuine, didn’t add sensationalism to his reporting and had a strong found interest in the next generation and the implecations of our policies on them.. ABC News: Peter Jennings Dies at 67
