Well, she finally made it. The hoopdy reached 200,000 miles this week. While she’s a 1998 Trooper II, we’ve still spent way less on maintenance than on our 1999 Ford Winstar. In fact, there has been no major maintenance on the hoopty outside of normal maintenance. Original transmission, A/C, etc. Now she does have some (a lot) sqeaking, creeking and rattling, but she never blew her transmission at 66K miles just by putting her in reverse to back out of the garage (like the Ford did).
