Navy to name aircraft carrier after Gerald Ford – USATODAY.com

fordThe Navy announced Tuesday it will name the first ship in the next class of aircraft carriers after former President Gerald R. Ford, who died three weeks ago. It is a fitting tribute to Ford, who served in the Navy during World War II, say those who knew him.

A fitting tribute to President Ford, and well deserved. I just hope the ship herself doesn’t get mixed up and think she was made by Ford Motors, parts might start falling off way out at sea.
