This absurdity is for real. Apparently, the Wyoming state house is really, really bored with apparently nothing to do. First of all, how the heck are they going to get this thing towed along Interstate 80? Second, where are they going to put it? Third, how will they hide it? They don’t have a lake big enough. I know, paint it camo green and hide it in the woods, propped up on blocks. Then have mechanical, retractable trees part like the Red Sea to launch the aircraft.
Wait, they were buying aircraft with this carrier, right? Or were they just going to have Dick Cheney stand on the deck with a shotgun. Let’s all just have a good laugh on this one and nervously move on…
Wyoming state representative Lorraine Quarberg (R-Thermopolis) has proposed Wyoming House Bill 85, which will prepare Wyoming for the day that the USA collapses. It includes an amendment proffered by Rep. Kermit Brown, which establishes a task force to investigate “conditions under which the state of Wyoming should implement a draft, raise a standing army, marine corps, navy and air force and acquire strike aircraft and an aircraft carrier.”
