Tupac Song (Wrote this in 94)
Funny as heck, the parody that Tupac released more songs after his death. In a spell of Nostradamus, he predicts the future events. You have to listen to the lyrics and read the subtitles.

Wolfowitz blames media for flap, resignation – USATODAY.com
Wolfowitz, yes, definitely a graduate of the Bush camp. He didn’t do anything wrong, complete denial. it was everyone else that caused this problem. Wolfowitz blames media for flap, resignation – USATODAY.com
LONDON (AP) — The outgoing president of the World Bank, Paul Wolfowitz, denied his actions were the reason for his departure and blamed an overheated atmosphere at the bank and in the media for forcing him to resign, in a radio interview broadcast Monday.
Wolfowitz, who has announced he will step down June 30, told the British Broadcasting Corp. that he was pleased the bank’s board accepted he had acted ethically, and in good faith in his handling of a generous compensation package for his girlfriend and bank employee Shaha Riza in 2005.
“I accept the fact that by the time we got around to that, emotions here were so overheated that I don’t think I could have accomplished what I wanted to accomplish for the people I really care about,” he said. Wolfowitz’s role at the bank had been controversial from the start.
By tradition, the United States — the bank’s biggest financial contributor — names an American to run the institution. President Bush’s selection of Wolfowitz in 2005 stunned many overseas, especially Europeans who were upset that the president would tap his No. 2 official at the Pentagon and a key architect of the Iraq war to run the bank.
Now this guy got skills !!
White House considers 50 pct troop reduction in Iraq next year – report – Forbes.com
White House considers 50 pct troop reduction in Iraq next year – report – Forbes.com WASHINGTON (Thomson Financial) – The White House is working on what officials describe as several ‘concepts’ for reducing the number of US combat troops in Iraq by as much as 50 pct next year, The New York Times reported on its website late on Friday. Citing unnamed senior administration officials, the newspaper said the concepts could lower US troop levels in Iraq to roughly 100,000 by the time the 2008 US presidential election moves into high gear. They would also greatly scale back the mission that President George Bush set for the US military when he ordered it in January to win back control of Baghdad and Anbar Province, the report said.
Wow, just in time for some republican candidates to recover. Coincidence? There’s no way they could win the White House with the war still raging. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m looking for a Gore/Obama ticket.
Bush Pays Tribute to Fallen U.S. Troops – Forbes.com
Let me try a couple of alternative titles. "Bush pays tribute to troops he dodged out on when it was his turn to serve" or "Bush pay tribute to soldiers but won’t increase soldiers pay"
Bush Pays Tribute to Fallen U.S. Troops – Forbes.com President Bush urged Americans to use Memorial Day to rededicate themselves to fighting for freedom across the world and pray for the safety of U.S. troops serving overseas. Bush ranch exempt from 'Click It or Ticket' – USATODAY.com
Well, I think the president should have the right to not use a seatbelt because he’s the president. I fully support it. I also support his presidential right to drive very, very fast. (Note to Justice Dept., I’m not advocating nor support the idea of any harm, just his personal rights…..I don’t want to end up on a private flight out of NC to Guantanamo Bay)
Bush ranch exempt from ‘Click It or Ticket’ – USATODAY.com President Bush found himself in a flap Tuesday about seat-belt use, a day after a federal agency began a campaign to encourage drivers to buckle up. Video cameras caught Bush without his seat belt while driving a pickup on his Texas ranch last weekend, giving a tour to NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. White House spokesman Tony Snow declined to comment in detail on Bush’s driving habits but said, "We encourage everybody to wear their seat belts." He noted Bush was driving slowly at his ranch when the incident was taped.
Democrats forget why they were elected….
So nevermind why they were elected last November. That sweeping vote that put them in power, being sent a clear message from the voters that they should stop the war. But being Democrats, they never can unite themselves to accomplish a single task…
Democrats Pull Troop Deadline From Iraq Bill – New York Times Congressional Democrats relented Tuesday on their insistence that a war spending measure set a date for withdrawing American combat troops from Iraq. Instead, they moved toward a deal with President Bush that would impose new conditions on the Iraqi government.
Slashdot | MS Wants To Identify All Web Surfers
Yeah, I’m subscribing for this nonsense. Now they want to totally identify you? Yet another reason to be weary of M$, not that there aren’t other companies to be concerned about too regarding your privacy…
Slashdot | MS Wants To Identify All Web Surfers "New Scientist reports on a technology Microsoft is developing to identify users based on their browsing habits. Quote: ‘The software could get its raw information from a number of sources, including a new type of ‘cookie’ program that records the pages visited. Alternatively, it could use your PC’s own cache of web pages, or proxy servers could maintain records of sites visited. So far it can only guess gender and age with any accuracy,’ but the aim is to be able to identify name, occupation and location as well. On a related note, The Inquirer reports on Microsoft’s plans to widen the use of its identity-verification technology CardSpace, which is built into Windows Vista and available as an add-on to XP. It’s being envisioned as an identity solution for the entire internet: says Kim Cameron, pioneer of the technology, ‘We feel it has to solve all use cases.’ (Aha, so the anonymous use cases, too, eh?) One might ask, with all of this user-ID information on hand, how long will it be until the Feds come knocking on Microsoft’s door asking for help? They already have."
White House: 3.5% military pay hike unnecessary
So if you don’t support the administration’s war in Iraq, then you’re not supporting the troops. So by using their own logic, if the administration doesn’t support a military pay raise, isn’t that supporting Al Queda?
White House: 3.5 percent pay hike unnecessary – Military News, Army News, opinions, editorials, news from Iraq, photos, reports – Army Times Troops don’t need bigger pay raises, White House budget officials said Wednesday in a statement of administration policy laying out objections to the House version of the 2008 defense authorization bill. The Bush administration had asked for a 3 percent military raise for Jan. 1, 2008, enough to match last year’s average pay increase in the private sector. The House Armed Services Committee recommends a 3.5 percent pay increase for 2008, and increases in 2009 through 2012 that also are 0.5 percentage point greater than private-sector pay raises. The slightly bigger military raises are intended to reduce the gap between military and civilian pay that stands at about 3.9 percent today. Under the bill, HR 1585, the pay gap would be reduced to 1.4 percent after the Jan. 1, 2012, pay increase. Bush budget officials said the administration “strongly opposes” both the 3.5 percent raise for 2008 and the follow-on increases, calling extra pay increases “unnecessary.”
LiveScience.com: Bitter Battle over Truth in Sweeteners
LiveScience.com: Bitter Battle over Truth in Sweeteners It is a mystery why stevia, a South American plant more than 300 times sweeter than sugar, remains illegal for use as a sweetener in the United States. This essentially zero-calorie natural product has been used for decades in many countries and is deemed safe by the WHO. Could it be that the mighty U.S. sugar and corn syrup industries have pressured the FDA not to approve it?
In a short answer……yes. The FDA no longer has the role of protecting people, but protecting a company with the proper campaign contributions….
