A really good article outlining the 15 signs of negative people. I ask myself how many of these do I meet? Frankly, I consider myself the opposite. One important idea and approach, believe in something and start that journey until you run into an obstacle vs defaulting to reasons why something can’t or shouldn’t happen. Focus on the positive and align yourself with like minded people who’s default response is positive and don’t default to obstacles.

Apple makes 92 percent of all smartphone profits
Here’s an important lesson in business. It’s about a viable and value add product that can demand a significant margin. Not how many units you sell. Apples share of worldwide phone profits is 92%, the remaining 8% is divided amongst the lower valued product manufactures although they ship way more phones. So the lesson? Focus on something of value, not on something to just ship out the door.

It seems that some of these candidates are pandering and posturing to their base as they can’t possibly be this disconnected or lack the understanding of how the internet works or what net neutrality really is. Comments like relating it to Obamacare or using a 100 year old law for regulation is fallacy of pure misrepresentation of what net neutrality is. But read the list, starting with the flat earth society members to the ones that get it.

Great Article for Discussing Race on Medium
What a fantastic article about why it is so hard for people to openly discuss race and racism. I challenge any and everyone to read this, fully aware that several or many will stop dead in their tracks. But that’s what hope, faith and understanding is about, that almost everyone will read through it all.
It centers around a person of religion who has back and white members in his family, the discussion and the reactions of that discussion. At some point, hopefully, people will just take the time to listen without feeling they’re being blamed. It’s not that the majority of people are bad, it’s that the majority of people are silent.

Satire: Every White Supremacist Group Should Have a Black Leader

Yup, why not? If you’re going to have a cause, why not be inclusive with diversity. Countless studies show that diversity enhances marketing efforts by reaching out to a wider audience. Diversity brings in new ideas, helping your organization think outside the box. For white supremacist groups, having a black leader, even a token one will bring awareness to your cause.
BTW, I’m available For the right price. I’m looking for a modest executive salary in the area of ~$500K per year including bonuses based on recruitment numbers. I can help negotiate advertising rates on Fox News and Adopt a Highway programs. For the record, I have hated people for no particular good reason and jumped on bandwagons with no understanding of the issues. I can also come up with good reasons why “they’re beneath “us” and should leave this country (preferably by cargo ship because overseas airfare is absurd these days). I know a guy who can help get you legitimate non-profit status as a 501C so we can funnel all the money to build our doomsday bunkers for when that Mooselum Dick-tater Hussain Obama takes away our ass-ault riffells. Especially after this week with SCOTUS loosing their collective minds on healthcare to help people and stating that anyone can actually love anyone. I know, nonsense. First off, if you get sick or have an accident, it’s your own damn fault. You shouldn’t have been crossing the street when that car hit you and it was your responsibility to keep cancer at bay. Then this marriage thing, only hetrosexuals should have the privlidge of being pissed off about the marriage tax penalty.
Anyway, as I said, I’m your man (not woman because in a supremacist group, their asses should be in the kitchen making cookies while we have our bonfire meetings). Having a person of color will show your commitment to outreach and furthering the cause. “White Power!!”

New Air then Great Sail
Great weekend. Started late Friday afternoon (god knows why) with removing the old AC system and putting in the new one. I really should have waited till Saturday morning but I was determined to get it done. So, with the cabin hovering in the upper 90’s, I went for it. Got eh old system out and the new one in. Spent around three hours as I was slowing down due to the heat. Thanks to Pat and Skip for lending hands lugging the systems out and in.
Saturday was a great day and well deserved. Went with friends on a Cape Dory 30, what a fantastic sailing boat. There was a major storm passing through, enough for the Coast Guard to issue a warning. As it was moving fast going going north-northeast, we took the route of staying out and headed to South River to wait it out. It worked out well. I think most of the boats that decided to race back to Oriental probably got hammered with what went through.
